Do you know that this Canada province is the highest producer of nickel, gold, and silver in the whole Canada? Yes, it is.

Do you also know that the Kentucky coffee and sassafras trees cannot be found anywhere else in Canada except in Ontario?

There are two important features you need to know: the five Great Lakes of Ontario and St. Lawrence River Basin.

The five Ontario Great Lakes are the biggest continuous body of fresh water in the whole wide World. They include: Lake Superior, Lake Michigan, Lake Huron, Lake Erie, and Lake Ontario.

When all these lakes are combined, Ontario lakes therefore is said to hold one-fifth of all fresh surface water in the whole wide world.

Water from the lakes as well as fish are considered as raw materials whereas pond made by beavers is considered product.

More than 98% of Ontario residents live within the five Great Lakes of Ontario and St. Lawrence River Basin and more than 80% of Ontarians get their drinking water from the five great lakes.

  1. Agro raw materials

Beavers, Fish, wood, fruit crops (grapes, apples, berries etc.), cash crops (soybeans, corn, mixed grain), commercial poultry, hog, cattle etc.

  1. Mineral Raw Materials

Nickel, Gold, Copper, Platinum group, Amethyst, Water, Stone, etc.

Dams and ponds from weavers, catalytic converter, drugs and medical devices, microwaves, dryers, refrigerators, washing machine, dishwashers, jewelry, ring, faceted stones, cabochons, beads, cell phones, utensils, dishes, earrings, cigarette lighters, bra hooks, etc.
