On this National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, the Canadian Centre for Raw Materials Display Inc. (CaCeRMDI) joins Canadians in honouring the survivors, families, and communities affected by the residential school system. This day is a time for reflection, education, and a renewed commitment to understanding the truth of our shared history and working toward meaningful reconciliation with Indigenous peoples across Canada.
At CaCeRMDI, we recognize the importance of acknowledging the painful past while also advocating for a future built on respect, equity, and partnership. The lessons we learn today can shape our actions tomorrow, fostering a society where Indigenous knowledge, contributions, and rights are fully recognized and valued.
As we pause to reflect on this solemn day, we encourage everyone to take part in community events, educational opportunities, and personal reflection. Together, we can contribute to the ongoing journey towards reconciliation and healing.
Let us use this time not only to remember but to actively support efforts that promote understanding, collaboration, and the truth of Canada’s Indigenous history.
In solidarity,
Osagie Ayo Ekhaguere (Leo)
President
